 Its not what I expected as usual. It didn't work on my computer. It just give me some details onon a small green window on certain details I already know. It was nothing like a saw as a picture fron the internet.I saw no graphs or internet measuring of any kind. Just like a diolog box woth writing in it. Dave

 I could not get it to work. Then I see it is for dialup only? The first info I read only stated modem, implying DSL, cable or dialup. Not what I wanted after all.
Unable to use I'm using Windows XP pro 64 bit. With the absence of modem drivers I am using a usb modem configured as com 3. When trying to run the monitor it could not recognise the port when connected. If selected first the port could not be accessed.

Crashes immediately This is another bit of software that looks good on paper, but which would benefit from some basic testing. It fails immediately on opening, after an install onto a standard XP system.... back to the drawing-board I would say. pity, because it surely does >look< good.All I can say is that the download and install went without a hitch (!)...things start to go bad as soon as you try to actually run it. I tried re-installing and tried additional PCs...all the same result.
 Goog Stuff Nsauditor is a good network tool for monitoring and network check... Many useful tools for scanning, sniffing, enumerating and gaining access to machines.

 Opinion I'm still learning the many facilities available with PRTG Network monitor, but from what I have already discovered, it more than meets my requirements and is an excellent piece of software - more then 'Fit for Purpose'. It does what it says on the box.
PRTG seems very potent. my primary use, to monitor my internet connection uptime, has been reached.
Nice product, really useful.

Cluttered and misbehaved This program has a lot of hints and advertising to make you purchase the not-free version, or other software from the same vendor. The interface is cluttered and not very polished at all. I didn't bother trying to actually use it.
